Early
Childhood Education
This program is for
students interested in working with young children from birth to
age eight. Students are expected to acquire an
understanding of the developmental pattern of the young child in
such areas as cognition, emotion, social interaction and
physical growth. This understanding will be the basis for
working with groups of children and will culminate in a
practicum.
Associate and Bachelor degrees available.
For academic advising in the Early Childhood program please call
the School of Education (1-906-632-6841 x2811) and ask for
Professor Shirley Schoenemann.
