FALL 2005 TE 480 Intern Seminar Schedule
I. EUP Sections (Dr. Attie )
If you are student teaching in a school in the Eastern
Upper Peninsula, please plan on the following dates for
the TE 480 Intern Seminar:
September 13, September 27, October 11, October 18,
November 1 and November 15. All sessions are from 5 pm -
7 pm.
All CLASSES WILL BE HELD AT THE SAULT AREA MIDDLE
SCHOOL MEDIA CENTER . Questions, call Dr. Attie at

II. Ontario Section (John Fleming/Diane Marshall)
The sessions will be held
the Algoma District School Board building 644 Albert St. East in
the DT Walkom Room. Questions, contact John Fleming

III. Gaylord (Les Nixon)
The TE480 seminar for students in the mid-Michigan
region will be held in the library of Gaylord High School, 90
Livingston Blvd. Contact Prof. Nixon with questions (989)
733-8649 Meeting dates for the seminar: September 6
and 20, October 4 and 18, November 1, 15 and 29, and December
13. Sessions will be held from 5:30-7:30 pm.
IV. Lansing Area (Les Nixon)
The Lansing section of TE480 will be
held at Herbison Woods School, 3147 W. Herbison Road in DeWitt
Michigan. Class sessions will be held September 7 and 21,
October 5 and 19, November 2, 16 and 30, and December 14.
Sessions will be held from 5:30-7:30 pm.
V. Detroit Area (Gloria Westrick)
The Detroit area section of TE480 will meet at 51301
Schoenherr Road, Shelby Township MI 48315 at the offices
of Anderson, Eckstein & Westrick. Sessions will be held
from 5:30-7:30 pm on September 7, 14 and 28, October 12 and 26,
and November 16 and 30. Contact Gloria Westrick with questions

Please bring proof of liability insurance
to the first meeting or bring a copy of it to the School of
Education Office in South Hall. Contact the Michigan Education
Association at 635-1544 and speak to Bonnie Prudeaux about the
Student MEA membership ($27.00 U.S.) which includes the
liability coverage. You may also get the liability through your
private insurance company.
There will be no official text, but internet sites will be
used to supplement classroom management discussion.
